Racon agrees Lions deal

Therry Racon has decided to join Millwall on a free transfer after parting company with Charlton Athletic. The 27 year old has signed a two year contract with the Lions, who beat off competition from several Championship clubs, most notably Bristol City and Crystal Palace, to secure the midfielder’s signature.

Racon started his career with Olympique Marseille and had a short spell on loan at Lorient before deciding to join Guingamp. In 2007 he crossed the Channel to sign for Charlton and made his Addicks debut against Stockport. Over the course of four years, he has made more than a 100 appearances for the club.

Racon was also part of the Guadeloupe squad that competed in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
