Marseille defender Ronald Zubar has become Wolverhampton Wanderers’ sixth signing of the summer. The Guadeloupian born centre back joins newly promoted Wolves for a reported £2.5m fee. He has put pen to paper a four year deal at Molineux.
Zubar started his career at Caen, and made 97 appearances for the Normandy based outfit before moving to Marseille in June 2006.
Zubar was originally a defensive midfielder, but has now been converted into a centre back. He can also play as right back if the situation demands.
The 23 year old joins Marcus Hahnemann, Kevin Doyle, Greg Halford, Andrew Surman and Nenad Milijas as the new arrivals at Molineux this summer as Wolves aim to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
Zubar is expected to make his debut for Wolves in their pre season tour of Australia.
