Crystal Palace have completed the double loan signing of Aleksandar Tunchev and Peter Ramage from Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers respectively. Tunchev and Ramage, both defenders, have been signed on one month loan deals by the Eagles and are eligible to play in Palace’s Championship opener against Peterborough United.
The Eagles were looking for cover in the defensive department and manager Dougie Freedman said that he was delighted to have acquired the services of the duo. Bulgarian international Tunchev, 30, joined Leicester from CSKA Sofia in 2008 but has had his time at the Walkers Stadium troubled by injury.
Former Newcastle defender Ramage, who joined QPR from the Magpies in 2008, has made 74 appearances for the Hoops prior to this loan switch.
