Scottish Premier League side Heart of Midlothian have made Polish defender Dawid Kucharski their third signing of the summer. The 24 year old defender arrives at Tynecastle from Polish giants Lech Poznan, who finished third in the Ekstraklasa last season.
Kucharski started his career at Celulozy Kostrzyn before moving to Amica Wronki in 2002. He spent four years at Amica before sealing a switch to Lech Poznan.
Kucharski is a tall centre back, and has played against Scottish opposition in European competition before. He was part of the Amica Wronki side that was beaten 5-0 by Rangers in the 2004-05 UEFA Cup.
Kucharski joins Suso Santana and Ian Black in the list of Csaba Laszlo’s new summer signings. Hearts finished third in the SPL last year, and will compete in the Europa League this season.
