Nottingham Forest have officially completed the signing of young striker Ishmael Miller from West Bromwich Albion. The 24 year old, who becomes Steve McClaren’s fifth acquisition of the summer, has signed a three year contract at the City Ground. Miller spent last season on loan at QPR, helping the Hoops win promotion to the Premier League and is a proven performer at Championship level.
He was also part of the West Brom squad that won promotion to the Premier League but injuries have hindered his stay at the Hawthorns, leading him to make only eighty odd appearances in four years.
The fee for Miller was not disclosed, but it is being reported that Forest will pay £1.2m upfront to West Brom for the former Man City youth product’s services.
