Hull want – Zamora, Campbell and Fortune

In a bid to bolster their striking options Hull CIty have now turned their attention to the capture of Fulham forward Bobby Zamora. Hull City chairman Paul Duffen has confirmed the club’s interest in the former England U-21 striker. Zamora, who moved to Fulham from West Ham, has had an indifferent spell at Craven Cottage scoring just twice in as many as 35 appearances. Duffen told BBC Radio that Zamora is one of the six strikers that they are looking at.

“We have an understanding with Fulham but nothing will happen unless they get a striker in,” said Duffen.

Manchester United have accepted a £6million bid from Hull for Frazier Campbell but are still waiting for a decision from the player. Sunderland are also believed to be interested in Cambell, as he bides his time waiting for the right offer.

Marc-Antoine Fortune, who impressed last season during his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion is also discussing personal terms with Hull City. He also has offers from Celtic, West Ham and Portsmouth. Former Arsenal defender Lauren is also on Hull City’s radar. The Cameroonian international is now a free agent after being released from his contract by Portsmouth.
