Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has completed a move to Greek club AEK Athens on a three-year contract.
The 28-year-old forward departed Old Trafford this summer after spending nine years with the club, following the conclusion of his contract.
Martial featured in 317 matches for Manchester United, netting 90 goals since his £36 million transfer from Monaco in 2015, which was a world record fee for a teenager at the time.
AEK Athens currently lead the Greek Super League, having secured three wins from their first four fixtures. The team finished second in the league last season.
“I’m very happy. AEK was a chance for me and I want to give the best of myself to win trophies and bring joy to the fans,” Martial stated.
Martial started his professional career at Lyon before making a £4.4 million switch to Monaco.
The French international has scored two goals in 30 appearances for his country, though he has not featured in a national team match since 2021.
