Sheffield United youngster Jordan Slew has completed his move to Blackburn Rovers for a reported £1.1m. The fee could however rise in the future depending on his performances and other criteria. The 18 year old Slew has put pen to paper a four year contract at Ewood Park.
Slew, a product of Sheffield’s youth system, broke into the Blades’ first team squad last season. He was the subject of a failed £500,000 bid from Fulham.
Sheffield United director Scott McCabe said that the offer for England U-19 international Slew was too good to turn down despite the youngster having two years left on his contract at Bramall Lane.
