Championship outfits Reading and Nottingham Forest have completed the signings of Cedric Baseya and Clint Hill respectively. French striker Baseya was a free agent after leaving champions Lille and has put pen to paper a contract till the end of the season with the Royals. The contract with Baseya, who has also previously represented Southampton and Crewe Alexandra, includes the option for a year’s extension.
Forest on the other hand have taken Clint Hill on a three month loan from Queens Park Rangers. The Reds moved quickly to land defender Hill after learning that Chris Cohen would be sidelined for a considerable period following his injury in their defeat to Derby County last weekend. Hill, 32, can play at both left back and centre back.
