Juventus indicate interest in Tevez

Juventus have become the first major continental club to evince interest in a permanent transfer of Manchester City’s Argentine striker Carlos Tevez. Juve president Andre Agnelli has reportedly told City boss Roberto Mancini that he would be willing to pay around £20m in cash for Tevez, who has fallen out with the City gaffer and is expected to leave in January.

AC Milan had evinced interest in signing Tevez, but on loan, which is something City do not want.

Juve, who are looking to get their place back in European aristocracy after some mediocre performances over the last few years, have outlined an aggressive transfer policy in the January market to ensure they land the Scudetto this season.
