Queens Park Rangers are set to land Croatian forward Nikica Jelavic from Rangers in the winter transfer window. The Hoops have reportedly tabled a £7m bid to Rangers for the services of the striker, who joined the Glasgow outfit from Austrian side Rapid Vienna last year for £4m.
Jelavic has been pretty prolific in Scotland, netting 28 times in 43 appearances for Ally McCoist’s side. McCoist confirmed that an offer had been made for Jelavic, but refused to provide any further information. West Brom, Everton and Sunderland are also reported to be among the other clubs tailing Jelavic, with Baggies boss Roy Hodgson and Toffees manager David Moyes both present to watch him at Wednesday night’s Old Firm game, which Rangers lost 1-0.
Rangers have reportedly set Jelavic’s asking fee at £10m.
