Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf has revealed that he is seriously thinking of the option of going out on loan to improve his chances of first team football. The 24 year old Senegal hitman has found opportunities limited at Old Trafford given the presence of bigwigs like Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov, Danny Welbeck and Michael Owen and is hoping that a loan stint will reignite his career, much like Welbeck’s did by going to Sunderland last season.
Diouf, who has previously had loan stints at Molde and Blackburn Rovers, has been linked with a switch to Wigan, who narrowly missed out on the capture of Federico Macheda a few days ago after United opted to loan out the Italian to Queens Park Rangers.
