Everton have agreed to take US striker Edson Buddle on trial. Buddle, 30, is currently with German outfit Ingolstadt and has been in fine form for them in the current season. Buddle’s agent Richard Motzkin announced the news regarding Buddle’s trial on social networking site Twitter.
At Everton, Buddle will link up with USMNT team mates Landon Donovan and Tim Howard. Buddle has plenty of experience of playing in the MLS and counts New York Red Bulls, Toronto, Colombus Crew and LA Galaxy among his former clubs.
Buddle also featured for the United States in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and was a substitute in their games against both England and Algeria.
