Barcelona have officially announced that Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will arrive for a medical at the Nou Camp tomorrow. If Ibra passes the medical, then his move is likely to be formally completed. The Inter Milan star has already agreed personal terms with the Blaugrana.
Barca will pay Inter around €48m, with Samuel Eto’o also moving to the San Siro. Inter coach Jose Mourinho was delighted with the deal, and said that “only a stupid coach would be unhappy with the transfer”. Mourinho further added that he considered Eto’o to be as good as Ibrahimovic, and had thought that Real, and not Barcelona, would come after his prized asset.
This is the second piece of business Barca and Inter have done this summer. The Spanish champions earlier brought Maxwell from the Nerazzuri. Belarus midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb has also moved to the San Siro as part of the deal that brought Maxwell to Spain.
