Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he could have joined the Red Devils in the recently concluded winter transfer window if they had come calling for him. Sneijder was a prime target for Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer but his wages, coupled with England’s tax structure, proved to be a stumbling point in the deal.
Sneijder said, ” If on the last day of the transfer window an offer had arrived, maybe I would have left”
He also admitted that his immediate future was at Inter but he wasn’t sure whether he would be at the San Siro next season. European champions under Jose Mourinho, Inter are fifth in the league and have a fight to qualify for the Champions League next season.
