West Ham sign Fabio Daprela

West Ham United have snapped up youngster Fabio Daprela from Grasshopper Zurich for an undisclosed fee. Daprela, 19, is a natural left back who can also play in the centre. He has been capped by Switzerland at both U-17 and U-19 levels.

Daprela has put pen to paper a five year deal at Upton Park. He becomes the second Swiss player in Gianfranco Zola’s side, after midfielder Valon Behrami.
