Theo Walcott could follow Robin Van Persie out of the Emirates this summer if Arsenal decide to sell their captain and prime asset. Van Persie has a year left on his contract and with negotiations over a new deal failing to materialise, the Gunners are reportedly ready to sell Van Persie to any club who can match their £30m asking fee and the Dutch striker’s salary demands.
England winger Walcott, who scored one and set up another in the Three Lions’ 3-2 win over Sweden earlier this week, is in a similar scenario to Van Persie’s. He also has a year left on his current deal and may opt for a switch if the Gunners decide to sell Van Persie to a rival club this summer.
