Newly promoted Premier League outfit West Ham United have completed the signing of Senegalese international Mohamed Diame. The 25 year old was the subject of interest from several Premier League clubs, but the Hammers beat off competition to land him on a free transfer. Diame thus becomes West Ham’s third signing of the summer window after Stephen Henderson and Jussi Jaaskelainen.
West Ham have been linked with a number of attacking signings, with Grant Holt, Eljero Elia and Burak Yilmaz all rumoured to be on the shopping list of manager Sam Allardyce as he aims to build upon their promotion winning campaign of last season.
