Blackburn Rovers are set to launch a loan bid for Colin Kazim Richards, better known as Kazim Kazim, after the Galatasaray striker impressed Steve Kean this weekend on trial in the Netherlands. Richards was called up for a friendly against NEC and although the game ended 0-0, Rovers coaching staff felt he had done enough and will be in talks with Galatasaray over a season loan switch.
Kazim Kazim played for Bury, Brighton and Sheffield United before moving eastwards to Turkey in 2007. He has played for both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray and has also had loan stints with Toulouse in France and Olympiacos in Greece.
Kazim has been capped by Turkey at international level and played more than 30 times for the national team, earning eligibility through his mother.
