Everton boss David Moyes seems keen to add to his striking options ahead of the transfer deadline on Friday. The latest striker to be linked with Everton is Dundee United starlet Johnny Russell. The 22 year-old striker has enjoyed a good start to the season and has a growing reputation within the Scottish game.
Everton have already agreed a £2million deal with French club Caen for teenage sensation M’Baye Niang, but Italian giants AC Milan have also had a bid accepted for the 17 year-old. It’s believed that the youngster and his family will now hold the final decision.
Everton are also still being linked with former-Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen. The 32 year-old has been without a club since being released by United earlier this summer. Owen was a boyhood Evertonian and speculation he may join the Toffee’s won’t go away.
