Former-England captain David Beckham is in talks with French club Monaco over a move to the principality. Beckham will leave the LA Galaxy this weekend after the MLS Cup final and he has been linked with a move to a number of Premier League clubs.
London outfits QPR and West Ham were both believed to be ready to offer the 37 year-old another crack at the Premier League. However it now looks like the ambitious French second tier side could be in pole position Monaco are currently in the second tier of French football, but have just been taken over by Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev. The Tycoon is believed to have ambitious plans for the club. Beckham hasn’t signed anything as of yet and there is still time for him to move elsewhere.
The likes of QPR will still hold out hope that they could persuade the veteran midfielder to move back to England for one last season.
