According to Sky Italia Premier League champions Manchester City are in talks with both Juventus and AC Milan about the possible sale of controversial striker Mario Balotelli. City denied that the striker was leaving on Monday morning, only to open transfer talks with AC Milan later that day.
It seems that Serie A champions Juventus have now joined the race for the mercurial Italian international. City are believed to rate the striker in the £20million bracket and his transfer looks set to be complete before Thursday’s deadline.
AC Milan previously claimed that they couldn’t afford to sign the Italian striker and AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has described Balotelli as a ‘bad apple’. Despite these two factors the Rossoneri remain in the hunt for Balotelli.
Balotelli is in the City squad that has travelled to the English capital to face QPR, but it looks like it could be the last Citizens squad he’ll be involved in.
