Fulhams Stoor looking for loan move

Fulham full-back Frederik Stoor is looking to move away from Craven Cottage on loan after his high price tag put teams off making a permanent move for the 25 year-old according to his agent Per Jonsson. The Swedish international joined the Cottagers last summer from Rosenborg, but found it hard to break in to the first team on a regular basis due to John Pantsil’s good form.

He made just seven appearances last season and his 2million euro price tag proved too high for any club wanting to sign the star. His agent Jonsson has now revealed that a loan move could be the ideal solution to his situation with a host of Championship clubs being linked with a move for the Swede.

Jonsson told Fotbollskanalen.se. “It’s been a far too high price tag on him”

“Fulham of course want some of the money back. From the beginning they thought that they could get pretty much all of it back. But now they notice that’s going to be hard. Everyone (clubs) thinks ‘we will sell before we buy’ because of the financial situation.

“The clubs are now prevented from buying until January but in England there is still two months when you can loan a player. Our thoughts of finding a permanent solution aren’t the No.1 priority. We are looking at clubs in the Championship.”

Jonsson however revealed that there is currently no interest in the former Rosenborg ace he continued:

“No, there aren’t. But believe me there isn’t (any interest) with anyone. You need to have a Zlatan (Ibrahimovic) to get people to call, but they still don’t call as he is too expensive.”
