New Zealand striker Chris Killen has joined Championship side Norwich City on loan till the end of the season in an attempt to revive his flagging career. Killen, 27, is currently contracted to Scottish giants Celtic FC, but has largely been overlooked by manager Gordon Strachan at Parkhead.
Killen was unable to start regularly at Celtic, with the likes of Scott McDonald, Georgios Samaras, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Shaun Maloney and Cillian Sheridan also playing in the same position as him.
Killen scored only one goal for Celtic- against Gretna in October 2007. That game was also the first time he played all ninety minutes for Celtic.
Killen started his career with Manchester City before moving to Oldham in 2002 for £250,000. He spent four years at Oldham before moving to Hibs in 2006. In May 2007, he made the switch to Celtic.
