Fulham are set to lose Ryan Sessegnon this summer after their relegation to the Championship was confirmed. The 19-year old is regarded as one of the best upcoming talents in England and is a target for several high-profile clubs, with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Paris SG and Borussia Dortmund all said to be interested.
Sessegnon is contracted to Fulham till the end of the 2019/20 season, and the Cottagers are expected to cash in on one of their best players as they prepare for life in the Championship.
Despite spending more than £100m in the last summer transfer window, Fulham were unable to preserve their top flight status, with a 4-1 loss away at Watford confirming their relegation.
Dortmund were apparently keen to make Andre Schurrle’s loan stay at Fulham a permanent one and get Sessegnon in exchange, but those plans will have to be changed, with press sources indicating that the German star will be sent back to the Westfalenstadion this summer as the Cottagers are not keen on an extension.
Spurs appear to be favourites, but a move to United, where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to augment his side with young British talent, also remains a possibility.
