Fulham star set for Premier League return?

Months after being relegated with Fulham, rising Cottagers star Ryan Sessegnon is set for a return to the Premier League, with fellow London outfit Tottenham Hotspur said to be his most likely destination.

The Lilywhites are said to have made some headway in their talks with Fulham and are ready to pay a fee in the £20-25m for the 19 year old. Fulham wanted £40m at the beginning of the summer, but are expected to settle for far less, given that Sessegnon only has a year left on his contract.

Spurs could also let Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkodou move in the opposite direction, with the Cottagers said to be interested in both players.

Tottenham’s only major signing of this window has been Tanguy Ndombele, but they are also in advanced talks with Real Betis for Giovani lo Celso, with Nabil Fekir’s arrival at the Andalusian club expected to pave way for the Argentine’s exit.

Spurs have already sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid, and are ready to let go of Danny Rose, a move which will make the London Stadium a more attractive proposition for Sessegnon. Both PSG and Juventus are said to be interested in Rose, who was left out of the club’s squad for their Asian tour.
