It appears that Chile international Alexis Sanchez will be loaned to Inter Milan before the transfer window closes. The player who has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United will be keen to resurrect his career by making a move to Inter Milan.
The Italian club who is managed by Antonio Conte has already signed Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku last month and will be keen to add Alexis Sanchez to their attack.
However, it is believed that the wages demand of the Chilean international might be a major stumbling block to any move and that the Red Devils will have to accept subsidising a part of the salary if any deal will materialise.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted however that he is willing to keep the player in the squad. He has denied rumours that the player was forced to train with the reserves and said that Alexis Sanchez is still part of the team.
He believes that the former Arsenal player is an important member of the team and that he will be really useful during the course of the season. Indeed Manchester United only has Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford as recognised strikers after the sale of Lukaku and in the event of injuries, the team might find themselves in trouble.
At the moment Alexis Sanchez is still working on his fitness following a late return from his participation at the Copa America and has yet to feature in Manchester United first team. Given his participation at the tournament, the former Arsenal forward has not played in any Manchester United’s pre-season games.
We will have to wait until Wednesday to have a clear idea on whether Alexis Sanchez will be playing in the Premier League or the Serie A this season.
