Warnock set for Rangers as Palace move for Hart

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock looks set to join fellow Championship side QPR on a three and a half year deal. Most of the details have been agreed there are just a few fine details to be completed and the 61 year-old will be the new Rangers boss.

QPR have went through numerous managers in recent years but have failed to achieve their goal of making into the Premier League. And the Hoops currently find themselves 20th in the Championship one place above Warnock’s old side Crystal Palace.

Warnock’s first task as Rangers boss is to steer the club to safely this season. The former Sheffield United boss has previous experience at managing struggling clubs and will need it at the volatile London club.

In a strange twist of fate former QPR boss Paul Hart will be unveiled as Palace manager once Warnock has completed the formalities of his move. Hart will be given a contract till the end of the season. The 56 year-old managed QPR for just five games before leaving the club.

Hart also has experience of managing Portsmouth in the Premier League and Nottingham Forest in the Championship. Palace are outside the relegation zone on goal difference after being deduced ten points following the club going into administration.
