According to reports, Stoke City and Reading are among a host of clubs interested in Motherwell winger Sherwin Seedorf. The 22-year-old, a relative of legendary AC Milan, Ajax and Real Madrid star Clarence, is contracted to the Steelmen till the end of the 2020/21 season and is yet to pen an extension to his current deal, meaning that clubs would be free to approach him in January.
Seedorf joined Well from Wolves in the summer of 2019 on a two-year deal. He has also had loan stints at Bradford City and FC Jumilla during his stint at Molineux.
The winger has made nine appearances across all competitions for Motherwell this season, but had his last league start back in August against Hamilton Academical. He has found the back of the net only once this season- in the 2-2 draw against Livingston.
Stoke are currently 7th in the Championship and drew 0-0 with Queens Park Rangers in their last game. Reading are 5th in the same table at the time of writing, four points behind leaders Bournemouth but with a game in hand over the Cherries and will face Norwich in their next fixture.
