Real Madrid are planning to lure Arsene Wenger to the Bernabeu by giving him £100m to spend this summer on new players. Wenger has always had to operate within a budget at Arsenal, and it has been rumoured that he will get just £13m to strengthen his squad this summer.
Wenger has also stated that he is frustrated at the attitude of many Arsenal fans because the Gunners have not managed to win any major trophy in the last four seasons.
Real are also planning to give Wenger a salary of £6m a year at the Bernabeu.
Los Merengues have clearly been second best to Barcelona this season, and incoming president Florentino Perez feels Wenger is the man to turn things around.
Wenger has always stated in the past that he will honour the time left on his Arsenal contract.
