Mirko Vucinic eyes January exit

AS Roma’s unsettled striker Mirko Vucinic is likely to switch over to the Premier League in January. The Montenegrin international has been frustrated at Roma, not featuring in the starting lineup as much as he would like. Vucinic has played in only two of Roma’s last five league games and is expected to hand in a transfer request after having fallen out with Claudio Ranieri.

Vucinic has an impressive record in the Serie A where he has scored 90 goals in the league for Roma and Lecce combined. The 27-year old has a price tag of around £20 million slapped on him. Premier League giants including Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring his situation at Stadio Olimpico and a bid may be on its way in January.

His physical approach, commitment and never-say-die attitude make him a perfect fit for the high-octane style of the Premier League and would endear him to the supporters very easily.
