Fulham have added four new players to their ranks on Deadline Day, with the likes of Layvin Kurzawa, Carlos Vinicius, Dan James and Willian all joining the London outfit. Two of those four- Kurzawa and James, are loan signings, with the former coming from PSG and the latter from Leeds United.
Veteran Willian, who has previously played in the Premier League for both Arsenal and Chelsea, was a free agent after leaving Corinthians, and has signed a one-year deal with the Cottagers. Striker Vinicius has also previous PL experience- he was on loan at Spurs during the 2020/21 season. The 27-year-old moves from Benfica and has inked a three-year deal (with the option of a year’s extension), with Fulham paying a reported £9.5m fee for his services.
Other Premier League clubs were also interested in winger James, but the Welsh youngster chose Fulham, with one eye on match time ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this weekend.
Left back Kurzawa has made over 150 appearances for French champions PSG but was deemed surplus to requirements at Parc des Princes by new manager Christophe Galtier.
Fulham are 8th in the league after five rounds of fixtures and will square off against Spurs this weekend.
