Aberdeen have completed the signing of Mark Reynolds from Sheffield Wednesday. Former Motherwell captain Reynolds has joined the Dons on a loan deal till the end of the 2011/12 season.
Reynolds left Motherwell for Sheffield Wednesday last January, but struggled to hold down a first team place and made only six appearances for the Owls in the 11/12 season.
The move re-unites the 24 year old defender with Aberdeen gaffer Craig Brown, who also managed him when he was at Fir Park. The Dons were in the market for a defender with the imminent departure of club skipper Richard Forster for Bristol City.
Reynolds could make his Dons debut this weekend against Forfar Athletic in the Scottish Cup.
