Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is being linked with a £12million move to Spanish champions Barcelona. The Catalan giants were attempting to sign Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva from PSG, but seem doomed to failure. The French club have stated they would launch a bid for Lionel Messi should Barca attempt to sign Silva.
Reports from Spain suggest that Barcelona may turn their attention to Liverpool’s Danish centre-back, who is believed to be their second choice.
