Atletico Madrid starlet Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero has confirmed he would relish playing for Chelsea. Aguero has been linked with a number of the top clubs in Europe. The latest club to be linked with the 21 year-old is Italian giants Inter Milan.
Atletico have struggled this season to hit the heights of last season’s fourth place finish in La Liga and currently sit midtable in the Spanish top flight. This disappointing form has prompted the youngster to decide that its the right time to move on.
With that decision Chelsea seem to head the queue of likely destinations for the Argentinian international. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti will be given a major transfer war chest to strengthen his squad this summer. Its now believed that Aguero is their biggest transfer target.
Aguero told the Daily Express: “Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years. I look at players like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and they have been, and still are, the best players in their positions in the world. I could really learn from players like that, there is no doubt.”
