The Spanish media are reporting that Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin is close to sealing a loan move to the Premier League with Arsenal. The Turkish international only arrived at the Bernabeu last summer from Dortmund, but has found opportunities in the first very scarce of late.
Sahin is highly-rated and made a name for himself in the Bundesliga as a playmaking midfielder. The 23 year-old had previously been linked with Manchester United. Arsenal are also looking to clinch the protracted signing of Malaga midfielder Santi Cazorla.
Young Arsenal striker Benik Afobe has joined Bolton on a season-long loan deal. The 19 year-old is highly-rated and has enjoyed loan spells at Reading and Huddersfield in recent seasons. The striker will gain valuable first team experience at the Reebok Stadium.
