The Gunners have made an improved offer of around £25m for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney. Arsenal’s first bid of £15m was rejected a few weeks ago.
It is believed that Napoli are also interested in the Scotland international. Tierney, who is under contract with Celtic until 2023, is currently recovering from a hernia injury.
If the deal goes ahead, Tierney would become the most expensive player in Scottish football history, with a £25m move surpassing the £19.7m Celtic received when selling striker Moussa Dembele to Lyon in 2018.
Talks are expected to continue between Celtic and Arsenal this week!
