Arsenal keeper Vito Mannone has agreed to join Championship outfit Hull City on loan till the end of the season. This is the Italian stopper’s second stint on loan at the KC Stadium, having previously represented the Tigers in the 2010-2011 season.
Opportunities have been limited for Mannone at Arsenal, with Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski both ahead in the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium. His only appearance this season was in the Champions League clash against Olympiakos, a fixture the Gunners lost 3-1.
Mannone has been at Arsenal since 2005 after joining them as a teen from Atalanta and has also been capped by the Italian U21 team. He also had a spell on loan at Barnsley in 2006.
