Premier League Arsenal looks set to strengthen their attack this summer. One striker being heavily linked with a move is highly-rated Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony. The 24-year-old has admitted that he would love to play in the English top flight.
The striker has been prolific in the Dutch Eredivisie this season, scoring 31 goals in 28 appearances. Bony has also been linked with fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle, Chelsea and West Ham. However, Arsenal looks to be the favourites to sign the striker.
Another striker being linked with a move to the Gunners is former-forward Carlos Vela. The Mexican striker has impressed at Spanish side Real Sociedad, scoring 12 goals in 35 appearances in the Champions League chasing team.
Vela failed to make it at Arsenal and after numerous loans at other clubs, including Sociedad, the striker joined the Spanish side on a permanent deal last summer. The Gunners are believed to have inserted a £4million buy-back clause in his contract.
Vela has stated that he is happy in Spain and at Real Sociedad. However, he has admitted that he could make the move to the Emirates Stadium in the future. It remains to be seen if Vela will be arriving in north London this summer.
