Arsenal are being linked with a loan move for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin. The Turkish international is being linked with a move to Emirates as a prospective replacement for Alex Song, who is being linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
The 23 year-old Germany-born player made his name at Bundesliga club Dortmund, before moving to the Bernabeu last summer. Sahin has struggled to play much first team football for the Spanish champions.
Real boss Jose Mourinho has stated that he will allow the player to leave on a temporary loan deal, to allow the player to gain playing experience. Arsenal are favourites to sign the midfielder, but Premier League rivals Liverpool are also hoping to sign the talented playmaker.
Meanwhile, Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he is in ‘serious negotiations’ over a move away from the Emirates. The 24 year-old has been looking for a move all summer and looks set to get his wish before the transfer window shuts.
