The Daily Mirror reports that Arsenal are set to up their offer for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez to £40million. The Reds are reported to have already turned down a £35million offer from the Gunners. The club from north London look set to return with an increased offer.
Suarez has repeatedly stated his desire to leave the Reds, but Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has stated the Uruguayan will be staying at Anfield this summer. However, it is believed that if an offer in the region of £50million comes in then the Reds may consider selling their controversial frontman.
