Arsenal target David Villa is wanted by Serie A side Fiorentina. The 31-year-old is looking to move away from Spanish champions Barcelona because he wants to be playing first team football next season with the World Cup next year.
The Spanish international has previously been linked with both Arsenal and Spurs, but his agent has revealed the interest from the Viola and also revealed that Villa does not have a preference between playing in England and playing in Italy next season.
Villa has been prolific throughout his career, but last season was frustrated at the amount of regular first team football he was playing. He is expected to move on this summer.
Another international striker Gonzalo Higuain, will chose between the Gunners or a move to Serie A giants Juventus according to his father Jorge Higuain. Both clubs are reportedly in talks with Real Madrid over the signing of the Argentinian international striker.
Speculation has been mounting in the last few days that Higuain had in fact agreed personal terms with the Gunners. However, it looks likely that he will talk to Arsenal and Juve and decide which move is best him.
