According to reports, Chelsea defender Alex has become the latest centre half to be linked with a move to Arsenal. The Gunners have already been linked with moves for Scott Dann, Phil Jagielka and Gary Cahill, but neither of them seem to have materialised despite the close of the window now being only two days ago.
Alex has been strongly linked with Juventus in the summer transfer window. It was the Brazilian’s defensive mistake that Shane Long capitalised upon when Chelsea played West Bromwich Albion a few days ago. Fortunately for the Blues it did not cost them dear as they recovered to win 2-1.
