Bradford City have completed the signing of Liverpool keeper Martin Hansen on an initial month long loan deal. The young Danish stopper moves to the Bantams to provide cover for regular keeper Jon McLaughlin and may extend his loan spell if all goes well. The arrival of Hansen provides relief for Bradford boss Peter Jackson, who has been looking to shore up that position all summer.
This is the first spell outside Anfield for Hansen, who joined the Reds in 2006. The 21 year old also played a part in Liverpool’s recent pre-season friendly against Hull City, an exhibition match which Kenny Dalglish’s side lost.
Bradford will kick off their league campaign against Aldershot on August 9.
