Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has today revealed that his club has made a bid for Huddersfield Town star Jordan Rhodes. The striker scored 40 goals in all competitions last season, as the Terriers were promoted to the Championship from League One.
Premier League Fulham have already had a bid rejected for the Scottish international, believed to be in the region of £2million. His club are hoping to hold onto their star player, but with interest growing in the 22 year-old it looks increasing unlikely.
Rhodes has been a prolific goal scorer throughout his Huddersfield career, firing home 85 goals in 127 starts for the Terriers. Rhodes revealed this summer that he is currently happy where he is. However, should an opportunity to move to the Premier League come along it may be difficult to turn down.
