Blackpool are set to resurrect Bojan Djordjic’s career by offering the former Manchester United winger a two year contract. Djordjic is currently a free agent and acceptance of Blackpool’s offer will reunite him with Ian Holloway, who managed him when he used to play at Plymouth Argyle.
Blackpool were relegated from the Premier League last season and will therefore compete in the Championship this season.
Djordjic had an unsuccessful spell at Man United despite being named the club’s young player of the season for ’99-’00. He also had short stints at Sheffield Wednesday and current Scottish champions Rangers, neither of which really worked out well. His last club was Videoton in his native Sweden.
