Chelsea have completed the signing of Mexican youngster Ulises Davila from Chivas. Davila is the latest youth addition to Chelsea’s ranks this summer. Juan Mata, Oriol Romeu, Romelu Lukaku and Thibaut Courtois were all signed by the Blues in the last couple of months after Andre Villas-Boas took over as manager.
Davila, a versatile footballer who can player as both attacking midfielder and forward, was part of the Mexican U-20 side that finished third at the recently concluded U-20 World Cup in Colombia. Davila has signed a five year contract with the Blues that will keep him at Stamford Bridge till 2016.
Michael Emenalo, Chelsea’s technical director, said that Davila had made great progress in the last two years and hoped that he would be a success at Chelsea.
