Emre Can may be set for a return to the Premier League, with reports in Italy suggesting that Juventus will be willing to listen to offers for the 25-year-old this January.
The German international has found playing time hard to come by at Juve this season. He has started only one league game- the 1-1 draw against lowly Lecce last week, and his other three appearances for the reigning Italian champions have all been off the bench. He was also a surprise exclusion from the Bianconeri’s original Champions League by coach Maurizio Sarri.
Can played four seasons for Liverpool before joining Juventus on a free transfer last summer. He is contracted to the Turin giants till the end of the 2021/22 season, but is preparing for an exit if the situation doesn’t improve before the winter window.
Manchester United are said to be very interested in the German medio, while Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also said to be keeping tabs on his progress.
Frankfurt born Can was briefly with Bayern as a teenager before he moved to Bayer Leverkusen. He has been capped by Germany at various youth levels and has also made 24 appearances for the senior team.
