Norwich City could face a serious rebuilding task this summer after it was revealed that there was no agreement in place between the club and former manager Paul Lambert to prevent the latter from poaching the club’s players. Lambert successfully kept Norwich up in the top flight last season but has now chosen to opt for greener pastures by taking over the reins at Aston Villa from the hugely unpopular Alex McLeish.
Unlike Swansea, who had an agreement with now Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers not to sign players from the club for a year, the Canaries have not managed to ink such a deal with either Villa or Lambert and it leaves the Scot free to poach some of the club’s best players. An immediate rumour going around is for striker Grant Holt, one of Norwich’s best players last season, to be reunited for Lambert.
