Premier League newcomers Cardiff look set to complete a double swoop. The Bluebirds have agreed a fee of around £2million for Derby defender John Brayford. The former-Crewe star is now expected in the Welsh capital to discuss personal terms and have a medical ahead of completing the move.
Cardiff have also had a bid of £8.6million accepted by Toulouse for French midfielder Etienne Capoue. The 25-year-old has previously been linked with moves to Arsenal and Everton. However, it seems that Spanish club Atletico Madrid are the Bluebirds main rivals to sign the highly-rated midfielder.
